2026.07.01 – 2026.07.14 이정갤러리는 독일 출신 미디어 아티스트 티모 헬게르트(Timo Helgert)의 개인전《The Return of Nature》를 개최합니다. 티모 헬게르트는 디지털 기술을 기반으로 현실과 상상을 넘나드는 몰입형 시각 세계를 구축하며, 도시 문명과 자연 환경 사이의 관계를 탐구해온 작가입니다. 그의 작업은 익숙한 도시 공간에 식물과 자연의 요소를 개입시켜 인간이 만들어낸 구조와 자연의 유기적 질서가 공존하는 새로운 풍경을 제안합니다. 이번 전시는 기술과 자연이 대립하는 것이 아닌 상호 공존할 수 있는 가능성을 보여주며, 디지털 매체를 통해 동시대 환경과 인간의 관계를 새롭게 사유하도록 이끕니다. 도시의 인공적 질서 위로 되돌아오는 자연의 이미지들은 우리가 잊고 있던 생태적 균형과 회복의 가능성을 시각적으로 환기시키는 계기가 될 것입니다. Working at the intersection of digital technology, immersive visual environments, and speculative imagination, Timo Helgert explores the evolving relationship between urban civilization and the natural world. By introducing organic elements into familiar architectural and metropolitan spaces, his works construct surreal landscapes in which human-made structures and nature coexist in unexpected harmony. Rather than positioning technology and nature as opposing forces, this exhibition proposes the possibility of coexistence between the two.
