About This Exhibition
국립현대미술관과 LG전자의 중장기 협력 프로그램인 «MMCA x LG OLED 시리즈»는 역량 있는 동시대 작가에게 작품 제작비 및 기술 인프라를 지원함으로써 동시대 현대미술의 새로운 매체 실험 및 담론을 형성하고, 기술과 예술을 바탕으로 한 대형 신작 제작을 통해 현대미술의 대중화에 기여하고자 한다. 서울관의 상징적 전시공간 서울박스(Seoul Box)의 공간적 특성을 반영한 설치작품을 전시하여 현대미술의 독창적 예술 경험을 관객에게 제공한다. 시리즈의 두 번째 작가는 2026년 초 발표된다.
