[수집: 결정의 방] Acquisition: The Chamber of Decisions 출품작: 영상, 설치 등 소장품을 단순히 ‘보여주는 전시’를 넘어, 미술관이 무엇을 수집해 왔고 그 수집이 어떤 미래를 지향하는지를 질문하는 전시로, 미술관의 수장고와 전시실 사이, 그 결정의 공간을 관람객에게 열어 보이며, 공공미술관 소장품의 의미를 재사유하는 계기를 마련한다. Moving beyond a conventional presentation of the collection, this exhibition questions the museum’s acquisitions and the futures such collecting practices envision. By opening up to visitors the space of decision-making between the museum’s storage and exhibition galleries, the show creates an opportunity to reflect on the meaning and significance of public art museum collections.
