전시 개요 OVERVIEW 021갤러리는 공간 이전 후 첫 개인전으로 조각가이자 세계적인 설치미술가 박선기 작가의 개인전 『 Void and Vibration 』을 오는 6월 12일부터 8월 20일까지 개최한다. 이번 전시에서는 숯설치, 조각, 부조, 회화, 드로잉, 모빌 등 여러 조형형식을 아우르는 신작 20여 점을 선보인다. 작가는 나무의 마지막 형태이자 에너지의 시작점인 ‘숯’을 통해 3차원의 공간 드로잉 같은 원근법적 설치작품으로 관람객의 인식과 공간을 확장하며, ‘무존재로서의 존재’를 표현한다. 『 Void and Vibration 』전은 선의 떨림과 공간의 숨결을 통해, 비움이 진동으로, 선이 시간으로 변하는 감각의 장을 드러낸다. 고요한 선이 공간을 흔들고, 비움이 생명을 품으며, 시간과 존재가 교차하는 살아 있는 장을 펼쳐 보인다. 『 비움과 진동 』 전은 실재와 환영 사이의 경계를 넘나들며 작가의 공간적 언어가 집약된 자리이다. 박선기 작가는 중앙대 조소과 졸업 후 밀라노 국립미술원에서 수학했으며 국내를 비롯한 유럽, 미국, 아시아, 중동 등에서 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있다. 021gallery, as its first solo exhibition following the relocation of the space, is pleased to present a sculptor and internationally renowned installation artist Bahk Seon Ghi’s solo exhibition 『 Void and Vibration 』, from June 12 to August 20. The exhibition features over 20 new works that encompass a variety of sculptural forms, including charcoal installation, sculpture, relief, painting, drawing, and mobile. Bahk, through the final form of wood and the beginning point of energy ‘Charcoal’, expands the audience’s perception and space with perspective installations that are like three-dimensional spatial drawings, expressing ‘existence as a non-existence’. 『 Void and Vibration 』 exhibition, through the vibration of line and breath of space, reveals a sensory space where void becomes vibration and lines become time. The tranquil line wavers the space, the emptiness embraces life, unfolding a living space where time and existence intersect. The exhibition 『 Void and Vibration 』 traverses the boundary between reality and illusion, serving as a condensed spot of the artist’s spatial language. Bahk Seon Ghi graduated from the Department of Sculpture at Chung-Ang University and studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan.
