work23-WORK : 하지 초대전

전시 개요 OVERVIEW ● 전시명 : work23-WORK ● 기 간 : 2023. 10.18(수) – 11.11(토) ● 시 간 : 10:00 – 18:00 (일/월 휴관) ● 장 소 : 갤러리 전 A/B관 (대구 수성구 달구벌대로 2811 2F) 주로 설치미술과 평면작업을 하는 하지 작가는 붙이고 떼어내는 기법을 통해 작품 속 연속적 행위와 인과관계의 상반된 의미를 하나로 이어주고자 한다. ​이번에 전시될 작품은 ‘WORK’ 시리즈로 붙이고 떼어 낸 무수한 물감층은 불규칙한 표면을 만들어 내고 반복된 행위들이 남긴 시간과 흔적을 고스란히 담고 있다. 이는 내적 사유와 심리적 고찰을 통해 그 속에 존재할지 모르는 이상을 발견하고자 하는 작가의 부단한 노력과 시간이 응축된 과정이다. ​이번 전시는 갤러리 전 A/B관에서 평면작업 50여 점이 전시될 예정이다. ​Artist Haji, who mainly works in installations art and flat works, seeks to connect the conflicting meanings of continuous actions and causal relationships in his works through attaching and detaching techniques. The work to be exhibited this time is the ‘WORK’ series, in which countless layers of paint that are attached and removed create an irregular surface and contain the time and traces left by repeated actions. This is a process that is a condensation of the artist’s constant efforts and time to discover ideals that may exist within it through internal thinking and psychological consideration. ​This exhibition will feature approximately 50 flat works in the gallery’s A and B halls.
